(Nashville, TN) — Nashville police are calling Jon Bon Jovi a hero after the New Jersey rocker convinced a woman not to leap off a bridge. The “Livin’ on a Prayer” singer offered his hand when he saw the distressed woman clinging to a handrail on a downtown bridge, apparently ready to plunge. He and a crew member had approached her and the Rock Hall of Famer talked her down. Bon Jovi just happened to be there shooting a music video. The rock icon and the woman embraced before she was taken to a Nashville hospital. The Chief of Police thanked Bon Jovi, saying “it takes all of us to help keep each other safe.”
