Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump.
(Philadelphia, PA) — Former President Trump and Vice President Harris will face off tonight for what will be the first and likely only debate before election day. ABC News is the host of the 90-minute event, but every network will carry it starting at 9 pm Eastern. It will be the first time the two candidates have ever met each other. The latest polls show Trump and Harris in a virtual tie with less than two months to go before the November election.
DePaul University political science professor Wayne Steger believes Harris has more to lose tonight. He says the Vice- President has to convince voters that she has what it takes to be President. 77WABC’s Bill O’Reilly says he believes Harris should stay out of the mud tonight and present a wholesome feel to Americans who don’t know much about her.
77WABC’s coverage of the debate begins at 8PM
