Elephants in New York City?

syndication-the-tennessean-44

(New York, NY) — A herd of elephants is coming to New York City’s Meatpacking District. One-hundred life-sized elephant sculptures will be featured in an exhibition sponsored by Elephant Family USA. They were made by the Coexistence Collective which is a community of 200 indigenous artists living in southern India. The elephants will be on display until October 20th, when they move to Miami.

If you love the pachyderms and want to bring one home, prices to purchase a sculpture range from $8,000 to $22,000 with proceeds going to help support the coexistence of wildlife and humans.
