Will the Epstein List Be Released?

mixcollage-03-sep-2024-03-20-pm-5925

In this July 30, 2008 file photo, Jeffrey Epstein is shown in custody in West Palm Beach, Fla. U.S. District Judge Kenneth Marra ruled Thursday, Feb. 21, 2019, that federal prosecutors violated the rights of victims by secretly reaching a non-prosecution agreement with Epstein, a wealthy financier accused of sexually abusing dozens of underage girls.

(Austin, TX) – In a new interview, former President Trump is addressing the infamous, so-called Jeffrey Epstein “client list”. Following his 2019 re-arrest and reported suicide while in custody, there has been increased scrutiny on Epstein’s business dealings — and who may have been in his circle of influence.

A convicted pedophile and disgraced financier, Epstein has been rumored to have been a pimp for some celebrities, and potentially elected officials. Documents circling the internet for years purport to contain the list of clients that attended Epstein’s “island” — where he is rumored to have abused underage girls.

Now, in an interview with podcaster Lex Friedman, Trump says he’s inclined to release the list if he’s elected to serve another term in the White House. Trump responded to a question from Friedman and said while he never attended “the island,” he’s aware others did. He noted he’s “not opposed” to his release.

It’s worth mentioning not just in terms of disclosure and the importance of the information — but also because some on the left have insisted Trump was a close associate of Epstein’s. It’s not entirely clear how well the men knew each other, some reports have said Trump actually banned Epstein from his Mar-A-Lago club in Florida after learning of his illicit nature.

Trump told Friedman he’s open to releasing the list in the same way he’s determined to publish all documents concerning the assassinations of JFK and his brother RFK. The former president made that revelation after RFK Jr. dropped out of the race and endorsed Trump.
