Actor Matthew Perry's death has been called a "criminal conspiracy" by federal prosecutors in LA.

(Los Angeles, CA) – Federal prosecutors are calling the 2023 death of actor Matthew Perry a “criminal conspiracy.” U.S. Attorney Martin Estrada unsealed an indictment today in connection to Perry’s death in October, in which he passed out and drowned in his hot tub, in Pacific Palisades. Responding officers found him floating facedown in the water and he was declared dead.

Now, Estrada alleges that Perry died while under the influence of ketamine that he was not legally prescribed. Multiple people have been arrested. Included in the suspects are two doctors and Perry’s personal assistant. The “Friends” star experienced high-profile struggles with alcohol and substance abuse throughout his adult life. Fans of the sitcom have noted the way Perry’s weight would fluctuate depending on what substance he was abusing at that time.

One of the people now facing charges in his death has been referred to as the “Ketamine Queen.” And an autopsy did determine Perry died from the “acute effects of ketamine.” The drug is routinely used an an anti-depression drug, and to treat opioid addiction. Medical professionals have said Perry also died due to complications associated with heart disease.

Reports indicate that cops discovered other celebrities that are allegedly involved in Hollywood’s drug scene, as part of their investigation in Perry’s death. Police have also been increasingly focused on “back tracking” following overdose deaths — and trying to determine the people who sold the drugs, in order to bring charges.
