(New York, NY) – Intelligence experts warn that foreign nations may be trying to influence the 2024 Presidential Election. The Trump campaign announced this weekend they were hacked and a 271-page document was sent to The Washington Post. The document was sent to the post by an AOL user who goes by the name ‘Robert’.

POLITCO has also come out and said they received documents from ‘Robert’ since late July. The emails allegedly contained a vetting document on vice-presidential candidate JD Vance. U.S. officials have not confirmed the campaign was hacked, and the campaign did not provide evidence of the breach or foreign involvement, but reports say the hackers work for Iran.

Attorney General Merrick Garland said “we expect that these threats will continue and that these cases will not be the last.”

This comes after a Pakistani man was just recently arrested and charged in an alleged Iranian plot to carry out political assassinations on U.S. soil, including former President Donald Trump.
