(Washington D.C) – The Democratic National Committee has announced this past weekend that Vice President Kamala Harris has enough delegates to be the official party nominee for the White House. Party Chair Jaime Harrison released a statement saying the decision will become official when a virtual roll call vote ends Monday evening.
The vote comes after President Biden dropped out of the race in an unprecedented manner, and before the Democratic National Convention in Chicago next week.
