(New York, NY) — Former New York Governor Eliot Spitzer apparently married his girlfriend, Roxana Girand all the way back in 2020. The two had planned to hold a big wedding in April of 2020, but it was called off due to the coronavirus. So, the couple tells the “New York Post” that they had a very quiet ceremony in their upstate New York home instead. It seems some friends had no idea the two got hitched until the “New York Post” reported it in “Page Six” on Wednesday.
Spitzer, who is 65, and Girand who is 53 started dating back in 2017, and then were engaged in 2019. Spitzer was married before to Silda Spitzer from 1987 to 2013. The marriage fell apart after Spitzer got snared in a prostitution scandal that forced him to step down in 2008.
