(New York, NY) — Wednesday is National Tequila Day! Whether you enjoy it in a margarita, a shot with salt and lime, or on the rocks, it’s the perfect day to appreciate the rich history and craftsmanship behind every bottle. Originating in the region surrounding the town of Tequila, Mexico, during the 16th century. Its roots trace back to the Aztec civilization, which fermented a milder version of the agave plant known as pulque, later refined by Spanish settlers into the tequila we know today. Celebrate with a sip of Mexico’s finest spirit.
