(Islip, New York) – Two men were killed in a small plane crash at MacArthur Airport on Long Island Monday night. The single engine Beechcraft Bonanza A36 crashed while attempting to land shortly after take-off around 6:15pm. It is unclear what caused them to turn around. The two men were pronounced dead at the scene.
The FAA is investigating the case along with the National Transportation Safety Board.
