(Bushwick, Brooklyn) – An overnight fire in Bushwick, Brooklyn has left 9 injured including babies and children may have been purposely set. The FDNY is still investigating the cause of an apartment fire. They say the blaze broke out just before 3 a.m. on the first floor of an apartment building on Evergreen Avenue between Troutman and Jefferson Avenues.
Of the nine people that were taken to the hospital to be treated, at least one person is in critical condition. No word yet on how many floors were affected or what caused the fire. One neighbor says she believes the fire was set intentionally by a disturbed neighbor but nothing has been confirmed by officials.
