How did Biden do?

(Washington, D.C) – President Joe Biden faced an unavoidable test Thursday night, a solo news conference. He hoped to reassure voters that he is a suitable candidate, but it’s not clear he did that.

Conservatives are calling the press conference a total fail like former President Donald Trump who quickly mocked the president on social media, saying “Crooked Joe begins his ‘Big Boy’ Press Conference with, ‘I wouldn’t have picked Vice President Trump to be vice president,’” adding, “Great job, Joe!” President Joe Biden responded to Former President Trump saying, “By the way: Yes, I know the difference. One’s a prosecutor, and the other’s a felon.”

Some members of the left are saying it was a solid performance like Senator Chris Coons (D-Delaware) who said “Honestly, could the other guy have done any of that?” … “Anyone concerned about his ability to lead and govern should be reassured.”

President Biden had a few verbal stumbles and a couple misleading facts but managed to stay on track for most of part. After the conference another voice from the Democratic party called for Joe to take a seat, Connecticut Congressman Jim Himes (D) released a statement calling for President Biden to step out of the presidential race and make some room for the new guys.

Himes tweeted, “I hope that, as he has throughout a lifetime of public service, he will continue to put our nation first and, as he promised, make way for a new generation of leaders” … “I hope President Biden will step away from the presidential campaign,”
