Will those astronauts ever make it home?

syndication-naples-daily-news-8

(Greenbelt, MD) — There’s still no word when astronauts Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams will be able to return to earth in their problematic Boeing Starliner capsule. Williams says she believes NASA and Boeing will get it right soon, and get them down eventually from the International Space Station. The Starliner lifted off from Cape Canaveral back on June 5th, on what was supposed to be about a week long mission for the two astronauts at the space station. But helium leaks and thruster issues on the spacecraft have indefinitely delayed a return flight.

NASA’s Commercial Crew Program manager says they need to get Wilmore and Williams off the International Space Station before the SpaceX Crew-9 mission arrives with more astronauts in August.
