(New York, New York) – Strong storms on Sunday were felt all across the Tri-State area. They caused chaos at the big three area airports, with big delays and cancellations for fliers hoping to jet out for the July 4th holiday. Fliers were upset because when weather is an issue, airlines do not offer any sort of compensation or credit. Some passengers at Newark Airport, who got stuck in the storm on Sunday have to wait until Tuesday for the next plane that can take them to their destination. If that’s not bad enough, passengers had nowhere to go, leaving them to sleep in the airport.
The storms also took down power lines, and trees in neighborhoods in New Jersey and the Hudson Valley.
