(Washington D.C.) – President Biden and First Lady Jill Biden are at Camp David this weekend to discuss the future of the campaign. NBC News reported that sources say the main decision makers are the president and the first lady going on to say that this is a deeply personal decision.Â
Biden’s stay in Maryland comes on the heels of a poor showing at the first presidential debate between the 45th and 46th presidents. The New York Times Editorial Board and the Atlanta Star, the local paper for where the debate went down, both called on Biden to step aside and let someone else run on the Democratic ticket. A recent poll from the Morning Consult found that 60% of voters think that Biden should be replaced.Â
At a campaign event in Raleigh, North Carolina on Friday, Biden said that he may not debate as well as he used to but he is still confident that he could serve another term.
