(Queens, NY) – After a 13-year-old girl was raped in Queens this month, a massive manhunt went into effect. The teen victim and her male friend were tied up beforehand — at Flushing’s Kissena Park. Vigilantes eventually recognized the suspect from surveillance camera footage, and he was apprehended at a local bodega.
Since then, we’ve learned the suspect is 25-year-old Christian Geovanny Inga-Landi. He’s been arraigned and charged with various sex crimes. It also turns out he’s an illegal immigrant from Ecuador who crossed the southern border of the US illegally. That’s led to interest from members of Congress — including House Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan.
Congressman Jordan, in a letter co-signed by co-Chairman Tom McClintock, demands all documentation from the federal government as it pertains to Inga-Landi. The letter is addressed to US Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, who was previously impeached by the GOP-controlled House — after which the matter was quickly dismissed by the Democrat-controlled Senate.
