(Midwood, New York) – A man in Midwood was shocked to see a surprise guest in his bathtub Wednesday morning as he was getting ready for the day.  It was an 18 inch corn snake! Steve Nahama decided his best bet was to try to scoop the snake up, and flush him down the toilet. In the process, the slithery creature bit Nahama on his index finger.  He dropped he snake and called the police, who then called in a snake expert to make sure the snake wasn’t poisonous. Nahama was told he’d be okay and the snake was taken to the Animal Care Centers of NYC facility in Queens to make sure he’s okay. There is no word how the snake made it’s way into the apartment building.
