(Sag Harbor, NY) – Pop star and actor Justin Timberlake has reportedly been arrested on Long Island under suspicion of DWI. Timberlake was taken into custody and then released last night after being arraigned as well. Cops say he was not required to post bail.
TMZ reports Timberlake faces one charge of DWI — he was also cited for failure to maintain his lane while driving — and allegedly running a stop sign. The celebrity-focused news outlet says Timberlake was observed to be glassy-eyed with the scent of alcohol on his breath — according to police in Sag Harbor.
Meanwhile, the former *NSYNC front man’s arrest comes amid his ongoing world tour. There are two shows scheduled for Chicago this weekend. Timberlake is due back in court next month.
