(Brooklyn, NY) — Two people in their 70’s are recovering after being shot in Brownsville, Brooklyn Saturday night. A 71-year-old woman was shot in the right leg and torso and a 70-year-old man was hit in the right leg just before midnight on Livonia Avenue. Both victims were rushed to Brookdale hospital and are in stable condition. Police say five people have been taken in for questioning, but so far no arrests have been made. No word on what led to the shooting or if the victims were the intended targets.

Bullets flew all across the city Saturday. A 17-year-old boy shot himself in the left leg near Nehemiah Park in Brooklyn. A 43-year-old man was shot in the leg in the Soundview section of the Bronx. Two people were shot at the Grant Houses in Manhattanville on Saturday.
