(New York, NY) – Former President Trump says it seems as though he’s been victimized by fake news — yet again. The Washington Post published an article that suggested Trump would look to push for mandatory military service if he wins the White House for a second time. The Post points to Christopher Miller, who ran the Department of Defense toward the end of Trump’s time as president.
The Post’s reporting says Miller has “mused aloud about a national service mandate,” something he reportedly feels should be “strongly considered.” But in a post to Truth Social, Trump said he’s never put forth such an idea. He slammed the Post and said the news outlet is just looking to harm his campaign.
