(New York, NY) – MTA Chair Janno Lieber is announcing plans to keep the City’s public transit system going as the agency tries to recover from the loss of funding over the pause on congestion pricing. He says the MTA is going to do an intensive review on how to shrink the agency’s current capital program while keeping riders safe. Lieber says they’re also going to figure out how to preserve federal grants like the one for the second phase of the Second Avenue Subway extension.
