(Brooklyn, NY) – The South Brooklyn Marine Terminal is starting to be transformed into the nation’s largest offshore wind port. Mayor Eric Adams and other officials were on hand today for the groundbreaking ceremony. The 73 acre site will eventually hold 54 offshore wind turbines that’ll produce enough energy to power half a million New York homes and create thousands of new jobs in the coming years.
