(Newark, NJ) — Former President Donald Trump is now officially on TikTok. He joined the social media platform Saturday night. His first video showed the 45th President greeting fans at a UFC match at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. The @realdonaldtrump account currently has over 400-thousand followers. When he was president, Trump tried to ban TikTok but was blocked by the courts. President Biden, who has also tried to ban TikTok has been on the video platform since February. In April, a U.S. law went into effect requiring the Chinese owner of TikTok to sell the platform by January or face being banned in the U.S.
