(Los Angeles, CA) – Well, Los Angeles — you are top dog this year. Or more specifically, LA is not only the city of angels — but also the number one city for postal carrier dog bites.
According to the US Postal Service’s annual list — 65 mail carriers were bitten by dogs in LA last year. Houston checked in second with nine fewer bites. Chicago, St. Louis and Cleveland rounded out the dog-bite top five.
In each of Long Beach, CA, Tulsa, OK, Portland, OR, and Detroit, MI — exactly 19 bites were reported.
