TSA expects increase in air travel

(New York, New York) – The TSA is ready for a busy Memorial Day Weekend. TSA at JFK are expecting to screen around 12-thousand more travelers per day this Memorial Day Weekend compared to any other typical weekend. Over in Queens, LaGuardia is expecting to see upwards of a 10% increase compared to a normal weekend.

The TSA is advising passengers to arrive at least two hours before any domestic flights to ensure that you have enough time to get through all checkpoints. Across the Nation, the TSA is expecting a 6% increase in air travel this summer compared to last year.
