(Washington, DC) – The Biden administration is announcing another round of student debt relief. The DOE (Department of Education) says that they’re forgiving seven-point-seven-billion dollars. The new relief will help over 160-thousand borrowers. Over five-billion dollars of the plan will assist those pursuing Public Service Loan Forgiveness. The other two-billion dollars will go to students enrolled in income-driven repayment plans. After today, the Biden administration has forgiven 167-billion dollars in aid for students.
