(Los Angeles, CA) – Sean “Diddy” Combs is saying sorry after a recent video went viral that appeared to show him assaulting his ex-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura. CNN first published the footage from hotel surveillance cameras on Friday that depicts Combs grabbing, shoving, kicking and dragging her.

Diddy has now posted on social media a video where he says the behavior was inexcusable. Combs says that he sought professional help through therapy and rehab.

Previously, he denied Ventura’s claims of assault. She previously sued him for abuse back in November 2023 and Combs settled the suit for an undisclosed amount.

The Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office says that they will not be pressing charges for that assault since the statute of limitations had expired.
