(New York, NY) – On Monday, so-called “star” witness Michael Cohen testified on behalf of the prosecution in former President Trump’s nondisclosure agreement trial, sometimes called the hush money trial. Cohen, who previously did legal work for Trump, is a disbarred attorney and convicted felon.
Several GOP lawmakers were in court on Monday to show their support for Trump. That includes Staten Island Rep. Nicole Malliotakis, who shared her view from the galley with Cats and Cosby on 77 WABC:
Manhattan prosecutors claim Trump worked with Cohen to arrange a payment to porn actress and exotic dancer Stormy Daniels — and that a $130,000 payment was made — after which time business records were falsified. The payment was allegedly to keep Daniels from discussing a sexual encounter with the media. She testified last week.
