(New York, NY) – It’s the first Monday in May and that means it’s time for the Met Gala. Always one of the biggest nights of the year for fashion, the annual event is hosted at the Metropolitan Museum or Art on the Upper West Side. The paparazzi are out in full force as the glitterati walk the red carpet at the museum and serve up fresh looks.
Each year’s gala has a theme, and the elaborate outfits or costumes worn by those in attendance follow that. This year the theme is “The Garden of Time.” Money raised will benefit The Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute. The hosts for the 2024 gala are Jennifer Lopez, Chris Hemsworth, Zendaya, and rapper Bad Bunny.
