(London) – Buckingham Palace has announced that King Charles III will resume his royal duties beginning next week. In February of this year the 75-year-old royal revealed he was battling cancer. It hasn’t been publicly disclosed what type of cancer he’s battling — but it doesn’t appear to be prostate cancer — despite the fact King Charles underwent a surgical procedure on his prostate in recent months.
This coming Tuesday, King Charles III and his wife Camilla will go to a cancer treatment center. The plan is for them to meet with patients and medical staff. That will mark the royal’s first public engagement since his diagnosis was made public. The king had his coronation ceremony in May of last year. Medical treatment is ongoing according to the palace.
