(New York, NY) — The Mega Millions jackpot is approaching a billion dollars. Lottery officials say no ticket matched all six numbers drawn Friday night so the grand prize jumps to an estimated 875 million dollars for Tuesday’s drawing. Meanwhile, the Powerball jackpot has climbed to an estimated 600-million-dollars for Saturday night’s drawing in that multistate lottery game.
The New York Lottery says one top-prize winning ticket was sold for the March 15th TAKE 5 MIDDAY drawing. The ticket with a $20,000 jackpot was sold at New Deli Food in Brooklyn.
The New York Lottery says it continues to be North America’s largest and most profitable lottery, contributing $3.7 billion in fiscal year 2022-2023 to help support education in New York State.
