(West Palm Beach, FL) —  Former President Trump says he’s looking forward to the November election, after he won every state except Vermont on Super Tuesday. Trump now has 995 delegates. He needs 1,215 to secure the Republican nomination.  Primaries were held in 16 states plus the U.S. Territory of Samoa.  Former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley is suspending her White House campaign, after only besting Trump in the District of Columbia and Vermont.

President Biden won every contest on Tuesday, except for American Soma, where Baltimore businessman Jason Palmer collected four delegates and won the primary.

The majority of Republican California primary voters view the economy as the most important issue this election cycle. That’s according to an NBC News exit poll. Forty-three percent of California Republican primary voters ranked the economy first. Thirty-nine percent ranked immigration as the most important issue, while nine percent of voters picked foreign policy and eight percent of voters went with abortion at the top of their rankings. Meanwhile, 55-percent of California Republican primary voters said the economy is in poor condition. And, 78-percent said Donald Trump would handle the economy better than Nikki Haley or any other presidential candidate.
