(New York, NY) –Flood watch and warnings are in effect for the tristate area until 6AM Thursday morning. The area will see on and off rain through Wednesday with rain heavy at time overnight. The city could see up to two inches of rain, with higher amounts in some spots especially on Eastern Long Island. Flooding on streets and in poor drainage areas is possible.
