(Washington, DC) –The Supreme Court has decided that former President Donald Trump can remain on the presidential primary ballot in Colorado. The Colorado state supreme court had ruled to remove Trump from the ballot, claiming he was an insurrectionist who incited the January 6th U.S. Capitol riot. The U.S. Supreme Court ruled today with no dissent in Trump’s favor. The decision comes less than 24 hours before voters head to the polls for the Colorado Republican presidential primary.

Just as Trump got the good news, came word that ex-Trump Organization CFO Allen Weisselberg is expected to plead guilty to perjury charges today. The Manhattan District Attorney’s office said he surrendered this morning on additional charges and will appear in court later today. According to reports, the perjury charges are connected to his testimony in former President Trump’s civil fraud trial.
