(Stamford, CT) – Michele Troconis, the Connecticut woman who dated Fotis Dulos, has been convicted of helping him cover up the murder of Jennifer Dulos. The couple were getting a divorce and were estranged in 2019 when Jennifer Dulos — a mother of five — disappeared after dropping her kids off at school in New Canaan.

Speculation immediately centered on Fotis Dulos and investigators said they had surveillance camera footage of him dropping off trash bags at spots around Connecticut. The speculation was that Jennifer’s body was in those bags, but her body was never found. Before he could go on trial for her murder, Fotis Dulos committed suicide — by running his car in the garage while he was inside, with the doors closed.

Prosecutors then turned their attention to Troconis, who was dating Mr. Dulos at the time of Jennifer’s disappearance. She was eventually charged with conspiracy to commit murder, tampering with physical evidence and hindering prosecution. A jury in Stamford convicted her on all six of the counts she faced. Under state law, the 49-year-old Troconis faces up to 50 years in prison.
