(New York, NY) — Wendy Williams has been diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia, as well as aphasia, the same as actor Bruce Willis. The news about the 59-year-old former TV and radio talk show host was announced by her team. They said she underwent testing in 2023, after her memory started to fail. The disclosure of Wiliams’ diseases comes two days before Lifetime airs a documentary on Williams called, “Where Is Wendy Williams?”
Last year, Williams began receiving treatment at a wellness facility to help manage her overall health issues. At the time her publicist said Williams was taking time to focus on her health and wellness as she prepares for a major comeback. The 59-year-old Williams stepped away from hosting duties on “The Wendy Williams Show” in 2021 due to numerous health issues.
