Phoenix, AZ — The Maricopa County Arizona prosecutor will not send back a suspect wanted in a New York City murder, because she says Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg can’t be trusted to keep him behind bars. Maricopa County Attorney Rachel Mitchell says Bragg is soft on crime and too quick to cut criminals loose on bail. Bragg says Mitchell is playing politics with a murder investigation. The case involves 26-year-old Raad Almansoori, who is accused of stabbing two women in the Phoenix area. He’s also wanted in New York for allegedly murdering a woman at the SoHo 54 Hotel in early February.
