(Brooklyn, NY) – Cops arrested an FDNY lieutenant over the weekend after he allegedly got into a fight with a paramedic that turned physical. It was on Saturday morning when responding cops handcuffed 47-year-old Neal Francis — with the FDNY saying afterward the situation was not domestic in nature.
Apparently Francis and the paramedic has a disagreement of opinion while working. They were on a job when that touched off. Reports have yet to make it clear if the paramedic is dealing with significant injuries.
NBC News New York says the FDNY tells them they are reviewing arrest paperwork and conducting an internal investigation to dry and determine if any disciplinary actions are appropriate.
