(New York, NY) — A verdict is expected today in the New York civil fraud trial involving former President Trump’s businesses. State Attorney General Letitia James is seeking a 370 million dollar fine and a lifetime ban of Trump’s company operating in New York state. Trump is accused of inflating his net worth in order to obtain more favorable loans. Trump says the case in politically motivated and that the banks made their money so there is no victim. A judge has already ruled that Trump engaged in fraud and today will decide the penalty.
