(New York, NY) — NYPD cops are searching for the gunman who opened fire on a 4 train in the Bronx during the rush home Monday, killing an innocent bystander and injuring five others.
Police say the bullets flew after two groups of teens got into a fight. Â The victims range in age from 14 to 71.
Police say it started with a fight on a moving northbound 4-train around 4:30 p.m, as the train approached the Mount Eden Avenue station. When the doors opened, at least one person pulled out a gun and started shooting out from the train – then kept shooting as they exited. A 34-year-old man was killed, the other five victims included a 14-year-old girl and a 15-year-old boy, as well as a 71-year-old man. All are expected to survive. No arrests have been made.
