(St. Louis, MO) — Over five-thousand Anheuser-Busch union workers could go on a company-wide strike in March. Teamsters Union President Sean O’Brien says unionized workers want wage increases, enhanced benefits and Juneteenth as a paid holiday. Negotiations are on-going as 99 percent of workers at the company’s 12 breweries have voted to authorize a strike. On Monday, the union announced it will pay employees a thousand dollars a week if the strike happens. Anheuser-Busch’s parent company has breweries in New York, New Jersey and nine other states.
