According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, the Boston Celtics are acquiring forward-center Xavier Tillman from the Memphis Grizzlies. In exchange, the Celtics will send a 2027 second-round pick via the Atlanta Hawks and a 2030 second-round pick via the Dallas Mavericks to Memphis as part of this trade for Tillman.
The 25-year-old Tillman is averaging 6.0 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 1.7 assists in 32 games thus far, with a field goal percentage of 40.8) and three-point percentage of 22.6).
Throughout his career, Tillman has averaged 6.2 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 1.4 assists, albeit with slightly better shooting splits; 52.2 percent from the field and 26.4 percent from deep.
The Celtics currently own the league’s best record at 38-12 this season.
