(New York, NY) —  The NYPD is searching for a crew of thieves who broke into a Bronx bodega and stole 100,000 dollars in cash.  The overnight break-in, at the Castillo Mini Market on University Avenue took place over the weekend.  The owner says he knew something was wrong when he saw the door of his store had been pried open with a crow bar.  Once inside, he realized all the cash in the store had been stolen.

Surveillance video from the night time break-in, shows men with masks on stuffing cash from the registers into bags. None of the burglars seemed to be in a hurry. Police say the wanted men had disabled the store’s security system. The owner of Castillo Mini Market says he is unsure how his family will recover from losing so much money.
