(Moscow) – Tucker Carlson makes his living on X these days — the site formerly known as Twitter — where his talk show is featured. But at present he’s making waves based not on his digital presence, but rather his physical location. Reuters reports Carlson was spotted several times in Moscow over the weekend, and people want to know why the talk show host/journalist is in Russia.
Some have speculated Carlson could have landed an interview with Russian President Vladimir Putin. For their part, Russia isn’t giving any clues. A Kremlin spokesperson only offered up that plenty of foreign journalists work in Russia, and sometimes travel there. More specifically, Moscow said it had nothing to announce in terms of what Putin’s done in terms of recent or upcoming interviews.
Reached by a local newspaper, Carlson sounded like a sightseeing tourist. He explained that Moscow is beautiful and he’s also always wanted to visit there, having heard so much about it. In April of 2023, Fox News severed its relationship with Carlson, where his “Tucker Carlson Tonight” show had become a ratings bonanza.
