King Charles Diagnosed With Cancer

news-death-of-queen-elizabeth-ii-2

Sep 14, 2022; London, GBR; King Charles III and Anne, Princess Royal, walk behind the coffin of Queen Elizabeth II as it leaves Buckingham Palace on a Gun Carriage, followed by he and other members of the Royal Family, en route to Westminster Hall.

(London) – Buckingham Palace has announced that King Charles III has been diagnosed with cancer. The palace has not specified what type of cancer, or the King’s prognosis. But he will remain the head of state while canceling his public events.

Charles, 75, just had a corrective procedure done for an enlarged prostate — which was described as benign at the time. That procedure is not believed to be related to Monday’s announcement. Experts say it could be that a separate issue was discovered during follow-up testing.

President Biden has said while he’s concerned about King Charles, he plans to speak to the sovereign soon.
