(Las Vegas, NV) – Good news, Swifties. It appears Taylor Swift, the pop star that’s threatening to overshadow the Super Bowl, will be able to make the big game and watch her boyfriend Travis Kelce play in person. On Sunday, February 11, the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers will meet in Super Bowl 58 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. But earlier that day, in Tokyo, Taylor Swift will perform as part of her “Eras Tour.”
Fans have been worried (well, Swift fans, no football fan is concerned) that Swift would miss the game because the concert is located halfway around the world from Las Vegas. Now, the Japan Embassy in Washington, DC says “no sweat.” While Swift’s fans have been crunching the numbers and adding up the flight times, the embassy says she’ll make it just fine. In fact, it should apparently be a comfortable arrival “despite the 12-hour flight and 17-hour time difference.” Phew!
