NY: Port Authority Bus Terminal Two Days Before Thanksgiving Travel
(New York, NY) — The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey is unveiling its plan for a new bus terminal in midtown Manhattan. Rick Cotton, Executive Director of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, says they will build three new buildings, that will include a new main terminal, a new staging area and new bus ramps. Cotton says the ramps will take the buses directly into the Lincoln Tunnel without them clogging local streets. The project is expected to take at least eight years to complete and could cost ten billion dollars.
