(UNDATED) — Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is sending 1 thousand National Guard and State Guard troops to Texas to help with placing razor wire along the southern border. The Supreme Court ruled last week that the federal government had the power to remove razor wire and other barriers that Texas built at the border. The ruling does not appear to faze lawmakers in Texas, who say they are overwhelmed by migrants and have to protect their citizens. Florida is also sending along State Guard volunteers to help Texas at the border.
