NYPD patrol vehicle responds
(New York, NY) — NYPD cops were out last night taking unregistered scooters off city streets. Many of those electric bikes are owned by migrants that have recently arrived here from the U.S. Southern border. Police say some of those migrants have been involved in a rash of muggings, where the scooter riders are stealing phones, purses, wallets and headphones from unsuspecting New Yorkers as they ride by them.
Meanwhile, Governor Kathy Hochul is suggesting that the mob of migrants who attacked two cops in Times Square last weekend, be sent back to their home countries. Police are still searching for the whole crew, that hit and kicked two police officers. The cops were jumped as they tried to break up a fight. One officer suffered minor injuries in the melee.
