(Stamford, CT) — WWE founder Vince McMahon is resigning over allegations of sex trafficking, and this time it appears to be for good. A former WWE employee filed a lawsuit in a Connecticut court this week, claiming McMahon assaulted and trafficked her to other employees at WWE, and then paid her to keep quiet about the incidents.  McMahon says he’ll be resigning from his position as executive chairman of TKO, which is the parent company of WWE.  Two years ago McMahon retired for a short time after he reportedly paid off a number of women who had accused him of sexual misconduct.

Meanwhile,  the website “Wrestle Votes” is reporting Slim Jim, a major sponsor of WWE events will continue to be a sponsor going forward with McMahons resignation. Slim Jim had pulled its ads following the sexual allegations brought against McMahon.
